On Saturday July 17 the "Bad News Bears" (as we kindly referred to them as) decided enough was enough. The odds were certainly stacked against the badgers as they came into the tournament with a 0-11 record while trying to accomodate a total of 18 players throughout the season. With a positive attitude, tremendous batting and outstanding pitching the girls beat the top tier Chardon team in the first game. They went on to win the second game and found themselves in the final tournament refusing to go home without winning it all. Thanks girls for never giving up and for proving that ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!
