Better Sports for Kids...Better Kids for Life!
The Berkshire Recreation Association was first established in the Fall of 1999. This Association was created to offer sporting activities for children that live in the Berkshire School District or who attend Berkshire schools. The first sport offered by the Berkshire Rec was basketball offered in the 1999-2000 season. Since that time, the Rec has expanded to offer a variety of programs intended to build strong character, valuable sportmanship and a general love of sports.
It's Easy! Become Involved!
The Berkshire Recreation Association is a non-profit corporation run completely by volunteers. Annual elections are held in June for the officers and trustees. All pertinent issues brought before the Berkshire Recreation Association are voted on at meetings by the membership. The only requirement to be a voting member is to attend one meeting on the first Monday of each month. We encourage you to come and sit in on a meeting to see what the Rec is all about.
